In 5 hours of art synthesis, the stones spoke in body, sound, color. STONE is a journey through time, a journey through space - rich in mythical beings, biblical motives, a relationship with yourself and the Other.
The work has a bright theme of war and freedom. The created direct bridge (broadcast on the former workshop gate) between Lithuania and Ukraine emphasizes the creator's independence, the freedom to cross not only over time, but also man-made political, social and other boundaries.

On the day of the performance / performance in the homestead, tank space,
12 hours - 10 am to 10 pm - a sculpture was forged / monument
on the value and importance of art, culture and science in Lithuania .
8 stones left their ideas in the stones -
Friends and students of Vilius Orvidas.
The stonemen worked only with chisels, the sound of a hammer becoming the connecting part with 7 p.m. started performance-performance.
The sculptors did not retreat from the stone for 12 hours
Vidas Cikana from Lukšiai and Vytautas Čepulis from Salantai.
Immortalized in stone and left a mark that day could
anyone who has come to the homestead-museum.
This idea is expected to continue, thus recalling that The spirit of Vilius Orvidas is alive and his ideas, values he cherished are important and necessary
for today's man and Lithuania.
Director
Inga Stankaitytė is currently working with cinematographer Simas Šereiva based on performance and archival material to create the film “Stone.”
The premiere is expected on
2022 August 5 Mentioning in Salantai for the
30th anniversary of the death of Vilius Orvidas.
In 2023, the third part of the trilogy about the stone is being prepared
“Stone. I crawl across the Atlantic. ”
This part is a 3-4 week voyage/performance by cargo ship across the Atlantic Ocean from Lithuania to America,
for Lithuanian artists,
who have created (are creating) Lithuanian culture outside Lithuania.
